In the following application, Human Coronavirus 229E (HCoV229E) was homogenized using the Bead Ruptor Elite. Using the Omni Universal RNA Purification Kit, RNA was extracted and HCoV229E nucleocapsid gene was amplified by RT-qPCR followed by PCR product visualization via gel electrophoresis.
