Place 2 g of tobacco leaves in a 50 mL grinding jar with four 10 mm stainless steel beads. Place jar in a liquid nitrogen bath for 3 minutes. Place jar on the Bead Ruptor 96 and process at 30 Hz for 3 minutes.
