Mastocarpus spp. (Dried) 1-9 mL

5-20 mg of dried algae was placed in a 1.5 mL tube with 1.4 mm ceramic beads. Sample was dry grinded on the Bead Ruptor 24 at 5 m/s for 60 seconds.
